Terms of Service

Last updated: June 11, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or accessing the Envision Trials platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Regulated-data acknowledgement

The Service is intended for the orchestration of clinical-trial operations and may process Protected Health Information ("PHI") and personal data subject to HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, and other regulations. You agree to use the Service only in accordance with applicable laws, study protocols, and the Business Associate Agreement ("BAA") between your organization and Envision Trials.

3. Account responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, enabling multi-factor authentication when required by your organization, and for all activity occurring under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable use

You may not (a) reverse engineer the Service, (b) use it to transmit unlawful or infringing content, (c) interfere with other tenants' data isolation, or (d) attempt to bypass audit logging, RBAC, or other compliance controls.

5. AI agents and human-in-the-loop

AI-generated outputs (feasibility scores, drafted documents, patient-match rationales, etc.) are decision-support only. A qualified human reviewer remains accountable for any clinical, regulatory, or contractual decision based on agent output.

6. Service availability

We target high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance and SLA terms, where applicable, are set forth in your organization's order form.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose a security risk. Upon termination your organization retains rights to export its data subject to the audit-retention requirements of 21 CFR Part 11 (records retained WORM for 7 years).

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Envision Trials is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of use of the Service. Specific liability caps are defined in your organization's executed agreement.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or via email to your account address with reasonable advance notice.
